Proven Process Baselining Phase 2 - Artifacts & Playbook Updates Workstream - Sprint 2
It’s validation time for Sprint 2 in the Artifacts & Playbook Updates workstream! See below for a reminder on how this works and the timeline we’re asking this group to provide feedback in.
What we’re asking you to do by Tuesday (12/19):
Access the Artifacts & Playbook Validation Workbook and read the instructions on how to use the workbook in the first tab.
Review the linked items in rows 8 – 11.
In your column, select from the dropdown if you approve or want further review of the item.
For any item you mark as “Needs Further Review,” please provide brief comments in row 12 with feedback for the CI Team to review and make updates based on.
The items ready to review in this sprint are:
Change order definition and process documentation: This is currently being worked on in the Operations Enablement project and is relevant to this initiative.
Best practices document for managing client expectations around change in project direction: This is a starting point, with the idea that this guide will evolve as more client samples and best practices are shared.
Phase Overview Deck: We’re creating template decks EMs and PMs can use when transitioning between Proven Process phases. The idea is to support EMs and PMs in reviewing the phase framework and common activities, facilitate discussion with the project team on modifications based on scalability factors, guide more detailed planning, and renew expectations on roles and responsibilities for each phase. This is an example for the Define phase.
Roles & Responsibilities Workbook: See above. This is a supplemental workbook EMs and PMs can use to guide conversations with the project team on review of project roles and responsibilities based on the common activities in each phase. This is a starting template. EMs and PMs can get as detailed as they want in adding activities based on their project. Again, this is an example for the Define phase (we have all phases created but are starting here to gauge general feedback on intent).
Let Emily, Jenny, or Brooke know if there are questions as you review between now and 12/19, and we appreciate everyone’s time and feedback in advance.
