Proven Process Baselining Friday Update - 3/29

This is your weekly update on the Proven Process Baselining initiative – see below for progress in the three Phase 2 workstreams. And shout out to this entire group for all the insights, work, and collaboration you’ve contributed to this initiative throughout Q1. We’re right on track and saw significant wins the past three months. That is a testament to this group and the time, energy, and commitment you all give – thank you for that.

This week in the ADO Usage & Standardization workstream, we:

• Launched a “soft release” of the updated Solution Blueprint Workbook. Sending many shout outs to all team members who have been involved in this workstream + Grace Stevenson’s leadership of it, that have contributed feedback, shared their perspectives and project examples, and collaborated on updating and signing off on this tool. See the attached email that includes a FAQ on the soft release, how project teams can take advantage of the updated version, and what resources are available to help use it. Reach out to Grace with questions.

• Continued Round 2 team-based sessions.

This week in the Artifacts & Playbook Updates workstream, we:

• Confirmed Q2 priorities for ongoing improvement work on the Playbook and communicated the priorities to those who represent their teams when it comes to partnership and collaboration with the CI Team on Playbook updates and content management.

• Continued backlog refinement and planning for pulling outcomes from a Playbook artifact audit being completed as part of the 2024 Playbook product strategy into the overall improvement backlog.

• Continued monthly check-ins and backlog review meetings with various team’s Playbook stewards.

• Prepared the March AAR Themes Report that will be sent out via LaunchNotes by end of day.

This week in the Proven Process Refresh workstream, we:

• Finalized plans for the Proven Process Refresh for Leaders + Train the Trainer series that will occur in April – May. More details to come next week.

• Continued collaboration with Leanne on planning for a Proven Process Refresh for CSMs to occur in May.
