Proven Process Baselining Friday Update - 3/1
Proven Process Baselining Friday Update - 3/1
This is your weekly update on the Proven Process Baselining initiative – see below for progress in the three Phase 2 workstreams. The CI Team just completed a Proven Process learning series with the Academy team members as part of their in-person week at the Fargo office.
This week in the ADO Usage & Standardization workstream, we:
Continued work toward re-releasing the updated Solution Blueprint workbook, with a soft release planned for 3/29. We are leveraging the PM and EM Proven Process Refresh workshops for initial training for those roles. We are also connecting with key stakeholders in the SA and TA roles in each practice, and Sales, to create awareness and align on intended use. As part of that, we are creating usage guidelines and training documentation to be shared ahead of the soft release.
A few team-based Round 2 sessions had to be rescheduled this week. Please remember to update your response on the session invite if / as soon as your availability changes so we can proactively find new times that work for the team + stay on track with our overall project timeline.
This week in the Artifacts & Playbook Updates workstream, we:
Continued in Sprint 5, with work in motion on the following:
Updates to previously created templates such as internal and client kickoff decks, to reflect updated Proven Process language and visuals
Review and updates to Hypercare checklist & exit review templates
We finalized an updated Proven Process visual with the Marketing team, that we’ll be updating in template decks and sharing across teams for use moving forward.
Held the 2024 Playbook product strategy kickoff and outlined what can be expected as we continue to enhance the Playbook through the lens of “now, near, and far” terms. Shout out to Maggie Taubenberger for driving this important work forward as Playbook product owner.
Continued collaboration with IT on updates to reduce clutter and streamline how project roles are represented and used in the Playbook, including updated guidance for new hire onboarding and how team members are initially set up with certain roles in the Playbook.
This week in the Proven Process Refresh workstream, we:
Facilitated a three-part learning series on the Proven Process for the Academy. This included an overview of Proven Process & Playbook fundamentals, deeper dives into each phase, and discussion / activities on topics like effective communication and collaboration, how to empathize with our clients and coworkers, and how to build on their business analysis learning and apply it throughout the Proven Process by gathering requirements with a focus on our clients’ business processes. Thanks to Lindsay Millett-Glass and Bart for all the support this week, and to the F&O Functional, Client Services, and Levridge teams for inviting Emily and Brooke to be part of this week’s learning for your new team members.
Continued preparing for the Proven Process Refresh workshop for Engagement Managers that will occur in mid-March.
We’re on track and cruising right along. Thanks to all for the ongoing engagement, insights, and energy. As always, don’t hesitate to let Grace, Emily, or Brooke know if there are questions. Enjoy the weekend!
