Proven Process Baselining Friday Update - 12/1
Proven Process Baselining Friday Update - 12/1
This is your weekly update on the Proven Process Baselining initiative. We have many updates this week - see below for progress in the three Phase 2 workstreams.
This week in the ADO Usage & Standardization workstream, we:
Completed sessions with the CE and F&O teams, with a final BC team session to occur next Tuesday (12/5).
Shifted the calendar to accommodate the above – see attached email Grace sent to those involved in this workstream. The main takeaway: we are on track to accomplish what is outlined for this first round by mid-January. We are rescheduling the cross-functional validation to early January and taking the next few weeks to create the updated ADO and Solution Blueprint templates based on all inputs gathered. We’ll look to validate these during the session in early January.
We are starting work on impact assessments for each team, for this specific workstream.
This week in the Artifacts & Playbook Updates workstream, we:
Closed Sprint 1 by uploading the approved Project Close Checklist to the Playbook and moved forward with CI LaunchNotes to create greater visibility to AAR outcomes and progress on action items. Thanks to all involved for your feedback, validation, and approval of these items in Sprint 1, which was our “test run.”
Began Sprint 2, that runs from 11/27 – 12/15. See slide 25 in the Phase 2 Kickoff Deck for the items we’re working on.
Updated the Key Concepts section in the Playbook (check it out!) and continued work on the baseline Proven Process project template based on Phase 1 outcomes.
This week in the Awareness, Education & Reinforcement workstream, we:
Continued meeting with team leaders on each team’s Proven Process Refresh plan for 2024. This week we met with the F&O and Client Experience teams, with Marketing & Sales scheduled for next week.
Kicked off the new Intro to Stoneridge’s Proven Process onboarding series. We introduced three new team members to the Proven Process during a 1-hour live session. The next step for these team members is the team-level conversation with their manager in their first 30 days, using the facilitation and discussion guides provided.
Continued collaboration with the L&D team on resources to support role-level onboarding of our Proven Process, including a Project Network of Support infographic; updates to the Project Roles & Responsibilities section in the Playbook; and tools to support EMs and PMs in reviewing the Proven Process and project roles with project teams at key project milestones.
Prepared to share a brief update on the Proven Process during next Friday’s All-Company meeting.
Reminders:
We’ve accomplished A LOT since kicking Phase 2 off, and will be recapping that progress for this group next week. Expect to receive a brief recorded update next Friday – we’re opting for that instead of a live milestone session due to how busy everyone’s calendars are.
Billable team members: log time spent on Proven Process Baselining to PRJ-4131: Stoneridge CI Program – Internal with the comment, “Proven Process Baselining.”
Here is the Phase 2 Kickoff deck and Phase 1 Reference Deck if you need to look back at what we accomplished in Phase 1 or what we’re working on now.
