Proven Process Baselining Friday Update - 1/12

This is your weekly update on the Proven Process Baselining initiative – see below for progress in the three Phase 2 workstreams.

This week in the ADO Usage & Standardization workstream, we:

• Finished work on Solution Blueprint updates and ADO templates based on topics discussed in the team sessions.

• Completed planning for Round 2, that will begin next week.

• Held a cross-functional validation session to review key concepts and updates to the Solution Blueprint Workbook. Special shout out to Grace for a ton of hard work and great session, and to the entire team involved in this workstream for all the effort being put into this critical component of taking foundational outcomes from the Roadmap and Proven Process initiatives and continuing to make them tangible for practical use.

This week in the Artifacts & Playbook Updates workstream, we:

• Continued work on the phase overview transition decks and project role & responsibility workbooks based on feedback from Sprint 2 validation, with a goal of uploading to the Playbook by 1/19.

• Continued collecting feedback on the Sprint 3 item for validation (updated role and responsibility descriptions for the Playbook). The feedback window for this sprint closes today. Emily and I will begin reviewing feedback on Monday (1/15).

This week in the Awareness, Education & Reinforcement workstream, we:

• Began follow up meetings with each team’s leaders to review the draft Proven Process Refresh master plan for 2024 and discuss options for team-specific activities within it based on the initial planning meetings from December.

Reminders:

• If you’re part of the ADO Usage & Standardization workstream, Grace will be sending a recap from today’s cross-functional validation session with the meeting recording, slide deck, and copy of the updated Solution Blueprint Workbook. Her recap will include instructions for how to provide feedback between now and 2/2.

• If you’re part of the Artifacts & Playbook Updates workstream, you technically have until Monday before Emily and I begin reviewing the validation workbook for Sprint 3. We appreciate everyone who already provided feedback!

• Billable team members: please log time spent on Proven Process Baselining to the following new coding based on the Evolution to Billable Hours initiative:
