Proven Process Baselining Friday Update - 2/23

This is your weekly update on the Proven Process Baselining initiative – see below for progress in the three Phase 2 workstreams.

This week in the ADO Usage & Standardization workstream, we:

• Started the first practice-based sessions in Round 2 of the ADO workstream, with a session each for the BC, CE, and F&O teams.

• Began work against the outlined plan for re-releasing the updated Solution Blueprint workbook, with a soft release planned for 3/29. We will be leveraging the PM and EM Proven Process Refresh workshops the next few weeks for initial training for those roles on the updated Solution Blueprint. We will also be connecting with key stakeholders in the SA and TA roles in each practice, and Sales, to create awareness and alignment on intended use. As part of that, we are creating usage guidelines and training documentation to be shared ahead of the soft release.

This week in the Artifacts & Playbook Updates workstream, we:

• Continued in Sprint 5, with work in motion on the following:

  • Updates to previously created templates such as internal and client kickoff decks, to reflect updated Proven Process language and visuals

  • Review and updates to Hypercare checklist & exit review templates

  • Collaboration with the Marketing & Sales teams on updates to the website and sales enablement materials to reflect updated Proven Process language and visuals

• Continued collaboration with IT on updates to reduce clutter and streamline how project roles are represented and used in the Playbook, including updated guidance for new hire onboarding and how team members are initially set up with certain roles in the Playbook.

This week in the Proven Process Refresh workstream, we:

• Facilitated the second of two in-person Proven Process Refresh workshop for Project Managers on Thursday – Friday. The team members who attended this second session are: Alicia Hays, Amber Nelson, Aimee Filipiak, Kara Sabatke, Becca Sauerer, Stefan Goepel, Jessica Dinning, Gina Byers, Sheila Holiday, Scott Endres, Luisa Hill, Syed Jalal, Brian Smart, Kelly Mackey, Colby Stream, and Katie Mulheran. Shout out to those team members for all the time, energy, engagement, insight, and positive vibes they brought into the workshop. And shout out to Grace for the strong partnership on bringing this Proven Process Refresh for PMs to life.

• Finished collaborating with L&D on updates to the Proven Process 101 micro-learning in Ascend, with the updated learning launched on 2/21.

• Facilitated a virtual intro session to the Proven Process and Playbook for the Academy, and finalized preparation for the Proven Process series that will occur as part of the Academy in Fargo next week.

• Started to prepare for the Proven Process Refresh workshop for Engagement Managers that will occur in mid-March.
