Playbook Updates: August 2024

This update primarily includes a summary of new templates, tools, learning materials, and reference guides in support of the Solution Blueprint Workbook and ADO Process go-live for the Consulting Services teams. 

Featured Updates & Assets

• Updated Solution Blueprint Workbook materials and ADO Process materials added to several locations in the Playbook, including the Proven Process Fundamentals section, the PM Initiation & Planning Workflow, the Roadmap project type, and the BC, CE, and F&O Net New Implementation project types. 

• Two new key concepts added to the Key Concepts section: "Solution Blueprint" and "Azure DevOps (ADO)" with linked assets in each (See screenshots below). 

• Updates to the Base Project RASCI Workbook to include specific tasks with role & responsibility breakdown for Solution Blueprint Workbook and Azure DevOps (ADO) usage. 

• The asset "Sales to Delivery Transition Instructions & Template booklet" has been added to transition activities throughout the Playbook, and the activity: "Prep & Schedule Sales-Delivery transition" has been associated to the Project Manager role (See screenshot below).  

• All common activities outlined in the Proven Process have been updated for consistent formatting, and to include definition, objectives, key process steps, and links to the Project RASCI Workbook where more detail on executing each common activity can be found. 

• Project Close Checklist updated to include additional checklist item for team communication following a Roadmap / Assessment project with an update on project status moving forward.
