CI is now utilizing LaunchNotes

Continuous Improvement is excited to begin utilizing LaunchNotes as our main communications platform to provide visibility into ongoing and upcoming CI initiatives, updates on projects and After Action Review (AAR) action item progress, and receive feedback from team members.

AARs and The Proven Process Baselining Effort

Why are we making this change?

Based off of team member feedback, the creation of a dashboard or other reporting mechanism for CI has been included as part of the Artifact Sourcing and Creation workstream of Phase 2 of the Proven Process Baselining Effort. The purpose of this dashboard would be to help create greater visibility to AAR outcomes, how feedback from AARs inform our current initiatives, and progress on resulting action items.

Why is LaunchNotes an effective tool for CI communications?

With the advantage of greater visibility into post-AAR progress, LaunchNotes contains several features that provide CI with a variety of additional benefits for our other workstreams:

• A more streamlined platform for communicating weekly, quarterly, or other iterative updates related to our different ongoing projects

• Greater visibility for team members to progress and other updates by "subscribing" to the various ongoing CI workstreams

• The ability to provide feedback, suggestions, or requests for ongoing or future CI projects and resources/assets for the Playbook

How exactly does CI plan on utilizing this tool?

Based on team member feedback, we will make adjustments on setup, formatting, and usability before fully and formally rolling out our usage of this platform moving forward.

How do I provide feedback?

To the artifacts validation group: Please keep an eye out for an email sent on 11/10/2023 regarding the Proven Process Artifacts Workstream for Sprint 1. Upon watching the above video (which is, again, very informal and subject to change), please provide any feedback you may have regarding CI's planned usage of LaunchNotes in the form included in that email.

Upon review of team member feedback, the CI team will make necessary adjustments to layout, usage, and readability of LaunchNotes before more formally rolling out and incorporating our use of this platform.
