CE Solution Blueprint / ADO Materials are LIVE in the Playbook!
CE Solution Blueprint / ADO Materials are LIVE in the Playbook!
We're excited to announce that the CE Solution Blueprint is now officially available in the Playbook! A huge shoutout to Reilly Mitchell for all of his hard work getting the blueprint finalized and for training the CE team last week in preparation for today's release. CE Leads and Team Managers, please pass this along to your team, letting them know these materials are live.
Key Things to Note:
With this release, all blueprints are officially live across all practices and are to be used going forward.
Utilize the links in the Playbook (see below) going forward. Please disregard any old links or previous documents. The Playbook is now the source of truth and should be what is used to pull blueprint and ADO materials going forward.
Any updates to the blueprint or materials need to be updated in the Playbook SharePoint site. Please reach out to Brooke McKeever directly if you need the link to make updates.
Because there were changes to the CE blueprint (minor), we decided to create a separate CE-FO multi-workload. See details below for where you can find the CE blueprint, the CE-FO multi-workload blueprint, and the F&O blueprint (if you had an active blueprint going off of the original FO-CE template, no worries -- that is still valid and has just been renamed to be solely the FO Solution Blueprint going forward. The links and materials are all the same with no changes).
Where Can I Find Materials?
All Blueprints can be found in the "Proven Process Fundamentals" page, "Solution Blueprint Key Concept" page, the "PM Initiation & Planning Workflow" page, the "Roadmap Project Type" page, as well as each individual project type's net new implementation page. For the CE blueprint, you will find it under "CE Net New Implementation".
Note: You will also find the multi-workload blueprints in each respective Net New Implementation Page for ease of use as well (for instance in the CE Net New, the CE-FO and CE-BC can be found). FO has FO and FO-CE, and BC has BC and BC-CE.
Where Can I Find Additional Training?
Please refer to the Ascend learning materials that were sent the week of the 8th with the original launch (if your team has already watched this, no need to rewatch. The materials have not changed with this release and are simply being added here for reference)
Please navigate here -Azure DevOps & Solution Blueprint Workbook for Project Team Members Playlist and share / assign with team members as needed
We recommend that all team members watch the overview before starting a new project that will be utilizing ADO to get acclimated
Project Managers will also provide additional training specific to the individual project as part of the project onboarding process
As mentioned, we will also be holding targeted feedback milestones later this year once we've had ample opportunities to use the new tools and processes within projects
With that, we will be looking to officially conclude the ADO standardization portion of the Proven Process work. I can't thank the team enough for all of their input and effort getting this over the finish line. This time we'd like to give a specific shoutout to the CE team that helped make this happen - Jenny Harer, Reilly Mitchell, Sowmya Kamineni, Ali Nelson, Matt VanDyke, Abby Hoglin, Brooke McKeever, and Jenny Hardisty.
As always, please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
Thanks,
Grace Stevenson
